Boost Your Health with Fermented Foods

Have you heard that health begins in the gut?   Are you sick often, deal with seasonal allergies, or struggle with inflammation?  These are just a few problems that result from poor gut health.   This class will highlight the importance of balancing your gut health with properly prepared fermented foods.  Discover the importance of eating probiotic foods and how simple it is to make fermented vegetables, fruit and grains and beverages.  Samples will be provided.   Fermenting supplies will be available for purchase. “Get me started now!” option:   Make and take your first ferment home before you leave class!  For an additional $45 you’ll receive a 3/4L Probiotic Jar, carrots prepped for fermenting and a quick-start guide.

Sauces & Dressings Cooking Class

Discover 5 recipes to bring the ultimate flavor to your next meal. Chef Jeanne’s demonstration includes class participation while providing step-by-step instructions to increase your confidence and skill of cooking. Samples of each recipe will be enjoyed in class. The recipes in this event include: Chimichurri Sauce | Ginger Peanut Dressing | Marinara Sauce | Garlic Crack Sauce | Greek Dressing Chef Jeanne enjoys sharing her passion for properly prepared, nutrient dense cuisine while you experience an environment that is welcoming, inspires creativity and allows you to be successful in creating delicious dishes. Meal Prep Dinners

Prepare 4 different dinner dishes to heat and enjoy on a busy night. You’ll prepare meals guided by Chef Jeanne’s step-by-step instructions while learning cooking tips and tricks to enhance your cooking skills. The recipes in this event include Ricotta Herb Meatballs | Cashew Lime Chicken Beef Stroganoff | Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Chef Jeanne enjoys sharing her passion for properly prepared, nutrient dense cuisine while you experience an environment that is welcoming, inspires creativity and allows you to be successful in serving delicious dishes. **Event Note: Class size is limited to 10 participants. Participants also have a choice between two ticket options. Self Service ticket allows participant to bring their own groceries. Chef Jeanne will provide a detailed grocery list for you to use. Full Service ticket allows Chef Jeanne to grocery shop for you, bringing all the necessary items to class. Recipe portions will serve 4 people. Participants may bring their own beer or wine to enjoy during class.
