Fermented Food I – Evening Class

Have you heard that health begins in the gut?   Are you sick often, deal with seasonal allergies, or struggle with inflammation?  These are just a few problems that result from poor gut health.   This class will highlight the importance of balancing your gut health with properly prepared fermented foods.  Discover the importance of eating probiotic foods and how simple it is to make fermented vegetables, fruit and grains.  Samples will be provided.   Fermenting supplies will be available for purchase. “Get me started now!” option:   Make and take your first batch of carrots home before you leave class!  For an additional $40 you’ll received a 3/4L jar filled with veggies and a quick-start guide.

Adult Knife Skills Class

Knives are essential tools in the kitchen, allowing food to look and taste it’s best.   Develop or enhance your knife cutting skills in our Adult Knife Skills Class.  Participants will learn basic knife cutting skills and techniques while preparing two tasty dishes to enjoy at the end of class.   Participants are asked to bring a Chef’s knife, Paring knife and cutting board. Tickets are $25 per person with advance ticket purchase required.   Ticket sales end 11/8/18.  Space is limited to 10 participants.
